Elev8 has recently welcomed a new addition to our suite of applications, Orbis TaskCentre. Orbis TaskCentre is a graphically driven application designed to automate your business tasks. The best way to explain this is to give examples.
Evolution Example: It may be that you have decided to send an email of thanks along with confirmation of order details every time you receive an order over $5,000. In addition, if over $20,000, you want an SMS to go to your Sales Director so as he/she can call the client to thank them verbally. TaskCentre can be set-up simply by you, to monitor the orders, and every time one is added a task will be triggered. TaskCentre will take the value, check it against your criteria and then either ignore if it is under $5,000 or generate an email with a Sales Order Acknowledgement, and optionally send an SMS if over $20,000. Both the email and the SMS will contain customer and order details.
InspHire Example: Regular reminders. TaskCentre, can keep your clients constantly updated. How about a weekly scheduled task which, sends all of your clients an HTML formatted email letting them know exactly what items they currently have on hire, with an indication of the debt being accrued - TaskCentre can do this for you automatically, it may stop loss and client forgetfulness. In addition TaskCentre could go one step further. If the credit exposure and current outstanding is over the client’s credit limit, it could generate a further email with statement details requesting payment to bring the account into line with terms.
Let your imagination run riot, the possibilities are endless. Control automatic purchasing, credit control, customer liaison, stock management, reminder letters, expense claims, and timesheet control and much more...
